Cloud Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, design, and implement core offerings from Red Hat, such as OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, RHEL, ODF, and technologies based on Kubernetes.

• Execute automated, containerized solutions for cloud application platforms.

• Address infrastructure challenges encompassing networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.

• Acquire and apply knowledge in container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks.

• Act as a subject matter expert on-site for technical, developmental, and strategic IT requirements.

• Oversee the identification of problems, definition of system architecture, specification and design of software, testing, and deployment of intricate open-source solutions.

• Adjust to evolving customer needs.

• Professionally handle incidents, escalations, and exceptions.

• Provide high-quality results within deadlines and project scope, including project journals, status reports, and standard documentation.

• Engage in sales and proposal presentations as well as ongoing team account activities.

• Collaborate closely with customers on architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of Red Hat cloud and container solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.

• At least 2 years of scripting or programming experience.

• Familiarity with system management practices, including installation, custom channels, deployment of virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creation of core builds.

• Demonstrated experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and additional Red Hat products is advantageous.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile (e.g., Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental is beneficial.

• An Agile and DevOps mindset is preferred, with a willingness to learn Agile practices.

• Red Hat Certifications are a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

• Strong technical skills along with excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.

• Capability to swiftly learn new technologies.
