This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage directly as a subject matter expert in Red Hat infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cloud-native development with clients.

• Provide guidance on best practices for automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover configurations.

• Oversee the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat technologies.

• Gain insights into customers' infrastructures, application ecosystems, and business challenges.

• Offer recommendations that are tailored to customer environments.

• Create common libraries and services, and execute reference implementations.

• Mentor client development teams in contemporary development methodologies.

• Facilitate mini enablements and support Developer Experience initiatives.

• Formulate conversion and system implementation strategies.

• Prepare and secure approval for system and programming documentation.

• Suggest modifications to development, maintenance, and system standards.

• Act as a subject matter expert to address technical, developmental, and strategic IT requirements.

• Adjust to evolving customer needs and serve as a trusted advisor.

• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specifications, design, testing, and deployment of intricate open-source solutions.

• Deliver high-quality results on-site or remotely, ensuring timely completion within project scope, even post-engagement.

• Generate project journals, status reports, and other essential documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies at a delivery level.

• Experience in implementing container technologies within an enterprise context and across organization-wide deployments.

• Proficiency with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Ansible Automation Platform.

• Familiarity with OpenShift / cloud-native development.

• Knowledge of Java Spring Boot or Python.

• Experience with Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD), and GitLab CI/CD.

• Understanding of observability technologies: Prometheus, Loki, Tempo/OTEL, and Grafana.

• Experience with Service Mesh using Istio.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.

• Familiarity with Kafka.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of Microcks.

• Familiarity with OPL (Open Practice Library).

• Experience with JMeter.

• Knowledge of Cucumber.

• Strong customer-facing skills; ability to present to clients and lead customer engagements.

• Understanding of the open-source community.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.

• Proficiency in German at C1 level or higher is required.

• Willingness to travel across EMEA as necessary.

• Previous consulting experience or Red Hat Certifications are advantageous.

• Readiness to obtain security clearance is a plus.
