📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the Cloud and AI FinOps and Technology Value Optimization capabilities for clients in the healthcare sector.

• Manage simultaneous delivery responsibilities across various health system clients.

• Take ownership of commercial outcomes, project scope, quality control, profit margins, staffing, risk management, and client satisfaction across the portfolio.

• Act as the primary senior client-facing representative, engaging with CFOs, CIOs, Chief Data and AI Officers, and governance committees.

• Create deliverables for executives, board members, and committees.

• Lead cloud and AI FinOps initiatives that encompass consumption baselining, cost distribution, unit economics, showback, chargeback, forecasting, anomaly detection, and value realization.

• Provide guidance on enterprise agreements and commitment strategies, including sizing commitments, right-sizing, reservations, savings plans, and consumption risks.

• Address the economics of AI and analytics workloads, focusing on GPU, inference, data platform pricing, model and token attribution, and shared-service allocations.

• Design components of the cloud operating model, such as Cloud Center of Excellence structures, intake and provisioning workflows, tagging taxonomies, enforcement automation, decision rights, policy guardrails, and cost review processes.

• Supervise automation and reporting utilizing native cloud cost tools, data platform telemetry, and enterprise BI.

• Lead the rationalization of applications and workloads, including portfolio inventory and segmentation, disposition analysis, cloud candidacy, placement criteria, migration sequencing, and business case development.

• Optimize AI estates, including models, pilots, copilots, and point solutions.

• Link rationalization results to run-rate reductions, contract and licensing optimizations, technical debt elimination, and reinvestment opportunities.

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and data leaders to address healthcare-specific limitations.

• Manage organizational change processes, stakeholder and impact assessments, communications, change networks, training, and metrics for adoption.

• Initiate and finalize follow-on and new work, encompassing scoping, pricing, proposals, and presentations.

• Develop reusable methodologies, accelerators, maturity models, benchmarks, and pricing structures.

• Represent the firm through thought leadership, conferences, client roundtables, and partnerships.

• Recruit, mentor, and assess performance of consultants up to the senior manager level.

• Act as a career advisor for a group of professionals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of SEVEN (7)+ years of overall work experience.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Experience in technology consulting, cloud and technology financial management, or technology transformation.

• Proven experience in engagement leadership with accountability for delivery results and commercial performance.

• Demonstrated ownership of a portfolio of concurrent engagements, including team staffing, margin management, and executive relationship oversight across multiple accounts.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud economics with at least one major hyperscaler, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with enterprise agreements, commitment constructs, native cost management tools, reservations and savings plans, tagging and policy enforcement, and allocations for shared and dedicated services.

• A track record of establishing FinOps capabilities aligned with recognized frameworks across inform, optimize, and operate domains.

• Significant experience in application portfolio rationalization, workload placement, or technology cost reduction.

• Working knowledge of AI and data platform economics, including consumption-based analytics platforms, GPU, and inference cost drivers, as well as shared-service attribution.

• Proven accountability for managing organizational change as a comprehensive workstream.

• Strong sales acumen, including origination, scoping, pricing, proposal leadership, and closure.

• Executive presence capable of engaging C-suite healthcare leaders effectively.

• US Citizenship is a contractual requirement.

• Preferred: experience with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and healthcare provider organizations.

• Preferred: knowledge of Epic and Oracle Health ecosystems, enterprise data platforms, imaging, and clinical and research analytics workloads.

• Preferred: credentials as a FinOps Certified Professional, Prosci or equivalent change management certification, and Azure architecture certifications.

• Preferred: familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.

• Preferred: experience in building a consulting capability or offering.

• Preferred: established relationships with hyperscalers and platform partners.

• Preferred: experience in multi-cloud and SaaS spend management, sustainability and carbon reporting, and enterprise technology business management.

• Preferred: advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, or master's in information systems.

• Preferred: published thought leadership or experience in conference speaking.
