Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational support across various cloud environments to guarantee a stable, secure, and well-managed infrastructure.

• Administer and manage the Turbot solution for AWS.

• Assist with migrations and enhance cloud environments.

• Coordinate operations and maintenance activities with system and project teams.

• Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, GraphQL, or similar technologies.

• Install, upgrade, configure, and manage the Turbot solution for AWS.

• Set up and maintain authentication, monitoring, security, and configuration management services for environment deployment and migrations.

• Support the deployment and configuration of AWS/Azure monitoring tools across both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and gold images.

• Provide reports on infrastructure health and sustain production operations manuals (POMs).

• Employ enterprise cloud tools, CSP portals, and sanctioned TRM tooling to assist VA applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or over 10 years of equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of direct experience with Turbot (Security & Compliance Governance).

• More than 6 years of practical experience with AWS operational tools and cloud compliance.

• Current AWS or Azure certification (e.g., AWS CCP/CSA, AZ-900, AZ-104).

• Proficient in automation (Ansible, Git), Linux troubleshooting, networking, scripting, and systems administration.

• Strong grasp of system administration principles and secure environment practices.

• Experience with Terraform and/or GraphQL.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Must possess work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.
