This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Create and assess Initial Closing Disclosure (ICD) documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
β’ Confirm that the ICD is distributed to the borrower a minimum of three business days prior to closing, complying with TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) guidelines.
β’ Examine loan terms, fees, taxes, and other financial information to guarantee they are correctly represented in the ICD.
β’ Verify all loan documentation against underwriting stipulations and customer details.
β’ Detect and rectify discrepancies in loan documentation prior to the issuance of the ICD.
β’ Stay informed about federal and state mortgage regulations, including TRID.
β’ Keep meticulous records of issued ICDs and track timelines to ensure compliance with the three-day disclosure rule.
β’ Work collaboratively with loan officers, underwriters, processors, and closing coordinators to gather and accurately present required data.
β’ Liaise with the loan origination team regarding any borrower inquiries or concerns related to the closing disclosure.
β’ Perform quality control checks on ICDs before they are submitted.
β’ Report any ICD errors, trends, and compliance risks to management.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
β’ Possess an analytical mindset with the capability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
β’ Familiarity with loan documentation, including closing disclosures, loan estimates, and underwriting terminology.
β’ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workflow effectively.
