This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage an independent caseload of patients who are interested in enrolling in clinical trials.
• Evaluate, inform, and present treatment options, including clinical trials, in an objective manner.
• Assist patients in overcoming barriers to participation in clinical trials.
• Collaborate with the Information Resource Center staff to educate and support patients and their families.
• Act as a clinical-trials consultant for the Information Resource Center.
• Aid in the development of materials and programs related to clinical trials.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest knowledge regarding hematologic cancers, blood and bone marrow transplants, and the psychosocial aspects of living with cancer.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of procedures within the Clinical Trial Support Center.
• Build effective relationships with Blood Cancer United, trial-site personnel, investigators, sponsors, patients, and professional organizations.
• Adhere to ethical standards and federal regulations that govern research involving human subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN licensure is required.
• Experience in oncology is preferred.
• Specialty training in Oncology/Hematology is preferred.
• OCN certification is preferred.
• Experience in clinical research is preferred.
• A Master’s degree is preferred; a Master’s in a non-nursing field will also be considered.
• Ability and willingness to excel both independently and within a team setting.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven dedication to independent learning and skill progression.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and OneNote.
• Access to reliable internet with a minimum download and upload speed of 50 Mbps.
