Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients

• Oversee the daily operations of the program

• Suggest and implement improvements for enhanced service delivery

• Offer direct counseling services, ongoing support, prevention services, and educational programs to adults, families, and youth

• Supervise clinical staff directly

• Support the manager in the administrative and clinical supervision of staff and interns

• Assess the performance of staff and interns

• Recommend staffing needs and service delivery enhancements to the Manager

• Provide training and instruction for staff, interns, and contract personnel

• Manage overall program productivity and assess the performance of staff, contractors, interns, work-study participants, and volunteers

• Deliver clinical services for at least 25% of the work week

• Conduct psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment as a Master's Level Therapist

• Direct daily program operations and organize meetings, services, and staff schedules

• Arrange and lead ongoing individual, group, and team supervisions

• Provide coverage for supervised roles as needed

• Ensure quality assurance in service delivery, including client files and documentation

• Monitor and uphold client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures

• Execute changes and new programming as directed by the Manager

• Complete necessary paperwork and crisis stabilization tasks outside of scheduled work hours as required

• Be available to work evenings and nights as necessary

• Participate in on-call rotations requiring 24-hour availability

• Guarantee continuity of care and facilitate communication with other agency departments

• Develop, implement, and sustain at least one clearly defined program area

• Ensure compliance with the agency's standards of care and assist with Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Utilization Review

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field is mandatory

• A minimum of three years of previous experience in community behavioral health is required

• Prior supervisory experience in the behavioral health field is preferred

• An associate license is preferred

• Familiarity with the AHCCCS System of Care is preferred

• A valid Arizona Driver's license with no major infractions in the past 39 months is required

• A fingerprint clearance card is necessary or eligibility to obtain one

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities are essential

• Clear and effective communication skills are a must

• Strong customer service orientation

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Capability to document detailed information accurately

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Composure in crisis situations, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, acknowledge personal limits, and engage positively and empathetically with all individuals, regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation

• A valid Arizona driver license along with appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT-SPC's insurance carrier when driving for agency business

• At the time of hire, a 3-year state driving record free of major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required

• Uphold professional conduct consistent with ethical practices and agency policies

• Maintain a professional demeanor while working remotely and cultivate positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners
