Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality of services provided to clients

• Oversee daily operations of the Adult Services program

• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance service delivery

• Offer direct service counseling, ongoing counseling, prevention services, and educational services to adults, families, and youth

• Supervise clinical staff directly

• Support the manager in both administrative and clinical supervision of staff and interns

• Assess performance of staff and interns

• Advise the Manager on personnel, staffing, and service delivery enhancements

• Provide training and instruction for staff, interns, and contracted personnel

• Manage overall program productivity and assess performance of staff, contractors, interns, work-study staff, and volunteers

• Deliver clinical services for a minimum of 25% of the workweek

• Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in the capacity of a Master's Level Therapist

• Direct daily program operations and organize meetings, services, and staff schedules

• Schedule and lead ongoing individual, group, and team supervision sessions

• Offer coverage for supervised roles as needed

• Ensure quality assurance for service delivery, client documentation, and charts

• Monitor and manage client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures

• Execute changes and new programs as directed by the Manager

• Complete necessary paperwork and crisis stabilization duties beyond scheduled hours as required

• Work evening and night shifts as necessary

• Participate in on-call rotations requiring 24-hour availability

• Ensure continuity of care and facilitate communication with other agency departments

• Develop, implement, and sustain at least one clearly defined program area

• Guarantee compliance with the agency's standards of care

• Assist with Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Utilization Review

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field is required

• A minimum of three years of relevant community behavioral health work experience is required

• Previous supervisory experience in behavioral health is preferred

• An associate license is preferred

• Experience with the AHCCCS System of Care is preferred

• Must hold a valid AZ Driver's license with no major infractions in the last 39 months

• A fingerprint clearance card is required or the applicant must be eligible to obtain one

• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Capability to document detailed information accurately

• Proficiency in multitasking

• Ability to remain composed in crisis situations, work both independently and collaboratively, acknowledge personal limitations, and relate positively and empathetically to individuals of all ages, races, creeds, genders, and sexual orientations

• Valid Arizona driver's license and appropriate liability insurance, as well as approval for liability coverage with EMPACT-SPC's insurance carrier, are required when driving for agency business

• At the time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive violations/tickets must be provided

• Maintain professional behavior that aligns with ethical practice standards and agency policies
