This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Serve as the Clinical Advisor for the TEG product line to customers.
• Promote the use and growth of the TEG product line at current customer locations within the specified territory.
• Assist in account management and sales efforts by providing clinical education and continuous case support.
• Oversee the current TEG customer base in the territory and expand it through clinical education initiatives.
• Educate both new and existing customers on all product and clinical features of the TEG line.
• Ensure customers can safely and effectively utilize TEG equipment, software, and disposables, as well as interpret TEG results.
• Offer onsite assistance across laboratory, critical care, operating room, and various clinical applications.
• Build clinical expertise and facilitate standard-of-care adoption within accounts by utilizing CRM tools and market insights.
• Cultivate relationships with clinicians, deliver didactic education and grand rounds presentations, support cases, respond to end-user inquiries, and organize market development events.
• Visit hospital accounts to identify and train clinical champions while establishing connections with key decision-makers.
• Provide dedicated onsite support for new customers implementing TEG technology or additional assays, including support after regular hours.
• Investigate and address technical, operational, and clinical concerns from customers alongside cross-functional teams.
• Maintain records of customers and the territory in the CRM system.
• Support clinicians in VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, high-risk obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical care fields.
• Understand the competitive landscape and convert opportunities within existing accounts to grow TEG business.
• Collaborate with the Account Manager for key-account growth, forecasting, and business strategy.
• Provide assistance at regional and national trade shows.
• Stimulate demand for devices, software, and add-on device upgrades.
• Assist with laboratory installation, validation, verification, training, competency, SOP, IQCP, donor sourcing, logistics, ordering, and interfacing needs.
• Seek out and establish multi-level relationships, including C-level connections, within the territory.
• Engage in product development, market needs assessment, quality investigations, and launch activities while providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.
• A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is required.
• A Master of Arts, Science, or Business Administration in a science or medical-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant industry or clinical setting is required.
• Experience with complex medical devices and/or in a critical care environment is preferable.
• Proficiency in hemostasis management is necessary.
• Strong technical and clinical skills are essential.
• Ability to understand and train customers and users on TEG products is required.
• Capability to operate the TEG Analyzer, understand the application of results, and navigate the software is crucial.
• Residency in the Salt Lake City area is mandatory.
• Must be able to cover Utah, Boise, and Las Vegas.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight is necessary.
• Ability to support clinicians in VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, high-risk obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical care fields is required.
