Clinical Specialist – TAVR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete the internal training program, ensuring proficiency in CT and echo imaging, internal IFU, best practices, marketing messaging, clinical evidence, and competitive knowledge.

• Collaborate with clinical trial sites to provide TAVI clinical case support, training, education, customer service, and effective communication.

• Assist with valve loading, preparation, delivery, and implantation in accordance with established best practices.

• Implement complication mitigation and troubleshooting techniques for DurAVR THV.

• Comprehend and adhere to the approved DurAVR clinical trial protocol, including inclusion and exclusion criteria.

• Accurately gather required imaging and pre- and post-procedural data.

• Conduct pre-case planning and CT analysis while offering pre- and post-procedure recommendations.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of existing DurAVR clinical data.

• Support Clinical & Regulatory Operations with site communications, data compliance, screening review, and site submission tasks.

• Attend clinical cases and assist heart teams with device preparation and valve loading.

• Provide education to physicians and site staff regarding suitable study patients and facilitate complete screening and enrollment.

• Monitor patient pathway screening activities and supply site-level screening and enrollment metrics.

• Identify operational enhancements and propose strategies for accelerating enrollment and advancing therapy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in health sciences, nursing, or life sciences.

• At least three years of experience in medical device support and familiarity with the sterile environment of a cath lab or operating room is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Structural Heart TAVR procedural/device implantation.

• Clinical expertise in interventional cardiology and TAVI Structural Heart is a must.

• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time, as necessary.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to initiate and manage interactions with physicians, research personnel, and internal colleagues.

• Capability to recognize and adapt to changing priorities and competing demands.

• Demonstrated creativity, strong problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.

• Self-directed, confident in leading trainings, providing clinical recommendations, and offering leadership in case support.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, site support staff, and colleagues.

• An entrepreneurial attitude with a competitive spirit and strong work ethic.

• Unable to sponsor work visas (OPT, H1B, etc.).
