Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Strategize the delivery of programs and activities in alignment with BD’s mission and objectives.

• Implement initiatives that support the strategic vision of the organization.

• Assess program strengths and pinpoint areas that require enhancement.

• Keep program forms and records updated in Salesforce.

• Supervise the collection and upkeep of program records for statistical analysis while adhering to hospital confidentiality and privacy policies.

• Engage with stakeholders to secure program support and gather feedback for improvements.

• Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of programs.

• Create training plans for products, including necessary hospital team members.

• Coordinate services across program activities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

• Regularly oversee program activities and conduct annual evaluations.

• Manage personal travel budget as part of the Training Specialist team budget.

• Administer the ICC budget.

• Schedule time in accounts with sales partners, utilizing time effectively.

• Address the needs of internal customers, such as TMs, DMs, Marketing, Regulatory, and Internal Training and Education, as well as external customers including current and potential BD clients, professional organizations, and KOLs.

• Travel via driving and flying, which may include overnight hotel accommodations.

• Adapt to variable schedules and cover multiple shifts as required.

• Execute duties that may involve sitting, bending, stooping, keyboard usage, seeing, talking, hearing, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Active license as a Registered Nurse.

• A minimum of three (3+) years of patient care experience.

• Experience in Hospital ICU/CCU/ED, leadership roles, committee involvement, and/or charge nurse positions is advantageous.

• Must hold and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and comply with BD's auto safety standards.

• Familiarity with program management.

• Understanding of client groups and/or issues pertinent to the program area.

• Maintain knowledge and expertise as a product specialist for the complete BD product line, particularly focusing on urological drainage and stool management.

• Capable of functioning independently with minimal oversight or direction.

• Exceptional listening and communication abilities.

• Aptitude for working in a sales environment alongside a sales team.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

• Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and presenting clinical data.

• Skilled in computer usage, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Able to manage multiple customer accounts with outstanding organizational skills.

• Competent in assessing problems and resolving objections.

• Professional demeanor and sound business and clinical judgment.

• Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, business correspondence, and memos.

• Capable of composing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in one-on-one or small-group settings.

• Proficient in performing basic mathematical operations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Skilled at solving practical problems and interpreting written or oral instructions.

• Travel may reach up to 80%.
