Clinical Science Liaison, CSL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical liaison for chronic care and telehealth channel partner relationships.

• Identify data requirements, establish expectations, and convert clinical and operational needs into actionable plans that align with platform capabilities.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on chronic disease management and clinical data during meetings with partners and external stakeholders.

• Facilitate discussions with partners regarding data quality and extractor validation.

• Clarify how the Clinical Clarity Engine reveals chronic disease history, encompassing diagnoses, medications, labs, and comorbidities.

• Provide guidance to partner programs on the interpretation, provenance, and internal application of clinical data generated through validated extractors.

• Communicate partner needs to the Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to influence the development of chronic care features and data offerings.

• Collaborate with channel partners to create case studies on new and emerging health technologies.

• Lead joint publications and thought leadership initiatives in partnership with external clinicians.

• Represent xCures at conferences and health technology venues, showcasing how the platform enhances chronic care through innovative health technology.

• Assist the business development team.

• Report directly to the Vice President of Scientific and Medical Affairs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active clinical licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA); an MD, DO, or other advanced clinical degree is also acceptable.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient understanding of chronic disease management for common conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease).

• Minimum of 4 years combined experience in clinical practice and stakeholder engagement (medical affairs, clinical liaison, or clinical program roles).

• Ability to simplify complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for varied audiences.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and the healthcare data landscape (e.g., HIE, QHIN, TEFCA).

• Knowledge of data quality principles, validation processes, and methods for assessing the provenance and limitations of clinical data.

• Proven capability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical leaders, executives, and internal cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex, unrelated projects simultaneously, exhibiting strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Comfort with remote work and virtual collaboration platforms.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented startup environment.

• Direct clinical experience with patients suffering from chronic conditions (bonus).

• Experience with structured clinical data (bonus).

• Background in supporting telehealth or virtual care organizations, or working within a channel partner framework (bonus).

• Familiarity with value-based care, population health, or chronic care management programs (bonus).

• Understanding of the regulatory landscape governing clinical data utilization in healthcare (bonus).
