This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote and market Teleflex MCS products.
• Articulate clinically distinct product features, advantages, and technology utilizing authorized sales tools.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for physicians, nurses, perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Instruct customers on the correct usage of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump/Catheter products in accordance with each IFU and Operator’s Manual.
• Provide case support for physicians performing product evaluations to ensure consistent product adoption.
• Manage the 24-hour IABP support line.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and team members to create and execute a proactive sales strategy aimed at achieving sales objectives and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Assess business conditions and sales trends with team members.
• Supply field intelligence on competing products, market activities, clinical support techniques, customer preferences, and product features to Marketing, R&D, and Clinical Medical Affairs.
• Exhibit thorough product knowledge and employ sales techniques within clinical environments.
• Provide sales assistance at conferences, society meetings, and marketing events.
• Operate in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Operating Rooms, or Critical Care settings throughout the designated geographic area to promote evaluations, adoption, and product utilization.
• Address customer inquiries or complaints and involve Clinical Medical Affairs when necessary.
• Cultivate relationships with medical personnel.
• Complete reports and administrative duties, including expense reports, competitive updates, and entries in Salesforce.com.
• Effectively manage time and asset costs.
• Report off-label inquiries following current protocols.
• Adhere to Teleflex’s Code of Conduct and comply with company policies, rules, procedures, and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, an associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of cardiac experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Mandatory experience in Adult Cardiac/Cardiovascular Intensive Care.
• Strong preference for experience with MCS.
• Previous industry sales experience is desirable.
• Prior industry clinical experience is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and presentation abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage challenging conversations and situations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer technology, Microsoft Office tools, and CRM software and platforms.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% or more of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and properly insured motor vehicle.
• Ability to carry a detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs. and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk in hospitals or meetings for 6–10 hours per day, up to five days a week.
• Must establish and maintain vendor credentials through RepTrax, Vendormate, etc.
• Depending on customer/site requirements, vendor credentials may necessitate obtaining the COVID-19 vaccination.
