Clinical Research Nurse – Home Visits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to participants in clinical trials within their residences.

• Execute study-related tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting and processing specimens, shipping samples, and conducting ECGs.

• Administer investigational drugs/products in accordance with study protocols.

• Perform patient evaluations and monitor for any adverse reactions; communicate findings to the study team and Principal Investigator.

• Meticulously document all activities conducted during visits in line with study requirements.

• Inform patients about study procedures, medications, and adherence to protocols.

• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and study protocols.

• Engage in effective communication with patients, caregivers, and research teams.

• Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure the secure management of protected health information.

• Serve as an advocate for patients/participants and their families.

• Operate independently, recognizing personal limitations and appropriately escalating concerns.

• Adhere to ethical research standards, including safeguards for vulnerable populations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active and unrestricted nursing license.

• Graduation from a recognized BSN program, Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program.

• A minimum of two years of acute care experience following qualification.

• Current BLS certification is mandatory.

• ICH-GCP Certificate is preferred; willingness to obtain one is acceptable.

• Basic IT skills, including familiarity with mobile devices, documentation systems, and Microsoft applications.

• Capability to work independently in home-based environments.

• A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.

• Training in Handling and Transport of Hazardous Substances is preferred, or a willingness to undergo such training.

• Flexibility in scheduling is crucial.

• Experience in Clinical Research is advantageous.
