Clinical Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough autism diagnostic evaluations through telehealth for children and adolescents located in New Mexico.

• Assess developmental, behavioral, medical, educational, and family histories.

• Utilize and interpret evidence-based diagnostic instruments and clinical evaluations.

• Compose clear and prompt diagnostic reports that satisfy payer and educational standards.

• Communicate findings and subsequent steps to caregivers with compassion and clarity.

• Collaborate with referring providers.

• Develop diagnostic protocols, report formats, and quality benchmarks.

• Partner with product and operations teams to refine clinical tools.

• Concentrate on evaluations while the company manages scheduling, insurance, billing, and credentialing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in psychology from an APA-accredited institution.

• Current psychologist licensure in good standing, with no disciplinary actions; must be licensed in New Mexico or have a license from another state and be eligible and willing to obtain New Mexico licensure.

• Proven experience in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong skills in assessment, clinical interviewing, and report writing.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficiency with relevant software.

• Excellent judgment, empathy, and communication skills when interacting with families.

• Availability to work as a 1099 contractor.

• PSYPACT participation or eligibility is preferred.

• Experience with telehealth-based diagnostic evaluations is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based autism assessment tools such as ADI-R, CARS-2, BOSA/TELE-ASD-PEDS, or similar is preferred.

• Experience working with diverse pediatric and family populations, including those on Medicaid, is preferred.

• Interest in developing systems, processes, and standards from the ground up is preferred.

• Previous experience in a startup or early-stage company is preferred.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required on the application form.
