Clinical Programs Pharm Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to Pharmacists and patients in clinical initiatives

• Execute programs aimed at enhancing health outcomes, with an emphasis on prescription medications and therapy management

• Aid in the implementation of strategies for thorough medication evaluations

• Conduct moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks

• Perform calculations and semi-routine assignments

• Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls from Humana members

• Gather information regarding medication histories

• Prepare members for comprehensive medication assessments

• Assist in optimizing prescription drugs for patients who are on multiple medications

• Foster health awareness through Rx Education and focused quarterly campaigns

• Support Pharmacists by making and retrieving calls to verify medication adherence and provide counseling

⛳️ Requirements

• Active State Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification

• Practical knowledge of insurance processing, customer service, or call center operations

• A designated workspace with a locking door

• Availability to work any hours Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm EST

• Flexibility to work on holidays, weekends, and overtime as necessary

• Must be punctual with the camera ON during the two or more weeks of training and mandatory leadership meetings

• Commitment to remain in the role and campaign for a minimum of twelve months

• Must fulfill home internet requirements of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

• A dedicated workspace free from distractions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information

• An associate's degree or equivalent work experience

• Experience in mail order or retail pharmacy

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish

• Prior experience in a call center or pharmacy environment

• Ability to resolve problems and support team-based solutions
