This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Conduct virtual clinical initiations and provide training for the Omnipod insulin management system.
• Offer education, onboarding, ongoing clinical assistance, and product conversions.
• Educate customers on the settings of the Personal Diabetes Manager or any changes to those settings.
• Assist in setting up the Diabetes Management Software and calibrate the medical device components that support automated blood glucose management.
• Inform about the availability of the Pod start diary via an online calendar tool.
• Aid Customer Care with troubleshooting frequent-flyer issues and handling escalated customer cases.
• Support regions with significant clinical demand and document training completion in Salesforce.
• Provide feedback to the manager regarding field-based training for customers and healthcare professionals.
• Carry out administrative tasks and other assigned responsibilities.
• Manage escalated contacts related to medical events, recurring product issues, PDM settings, and Continuous Glucose Monitoring systems.
• Adhere to standardized workflows, record customer interactions in the CRM system, and fulfill departmental service standards.
• Proactively cultivate customer relationships.
• Advocate for the advantages of insulin pump therapy and deliver ongoing customer education.
• Collaborate with teams in Product Support, Clinical Business, Customer Care, and Commercial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Up-to-date professional credentials and/or certifications are essential, such as Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Proficient in using virtual communication platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx.
• Experience in training and/or managing patients using insulin pumps is highly preferred.
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or a similar local qualification is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in the industry or commercial sector is strongly preferred.
• Self-motivated individual requiring minimal supervision and able to adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Professional and polished presentation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of proficiency with computers.
• Willingness to attend Insulet internal clinical or sales meetings as needed.
• Capability to lift items when sending or receiving shipments, handling samples, supplies, or literature, and transporting a laptop computer.
