Clinical Pharmacology and AI/ML Fellow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a year-long fellowship program focused on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics.

• Utilize model-informed approaches and cutting-edge simulation technologies to expedite drug development.

• Perform clinical pharmacology tasks leveraging modeling and simulation tools.

• Create scientific machine learning pharmacodynamic models and autoencoder generative machine learning models.

• Implement AI/Machine Learning or Large Language Models on extensive clinical datasets.

• Contribute to the development of predictive models.

• Construct QSP, PBPK, and PK/PD models employing software tools and the R programming language.

• Review and document literature sources utilized in modeling efforts.

• Develop, verify, and validate semi-mechanistic models that aid in drug development.

• Leverage AI/Large Language Models for analysis and reporting to enhance drug development speed.

• Participate in departmental meetings to gain insights into the drug development process.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD or MS degree is required.

• Submission of a curriculum vitae (CV) and unofficial college transcript is necessary when applying.

• Open to candidates from pharmaceutical sciences and AI engineering backgrounds.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Capability to apply AI/Machine Learning or Large Language Models to extensive clinical datasets.

• Proficiency in developing predictive models is required.

• Familiarity or willingness to gain proficiency with QSP, PBPK, and PK/PD modeling tools.

• Knowledge of the R programming language for effective data management.

• A flexible start date is preferred.
