Clinical Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy assistance, medication therapy management, and patient education.

• Offer direct counseling and education regarding prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and health-related subjects.

• Perform medication therapy evaluations and monitor patterns of medication use.

• Identify opportunities to enhance patient outcomes.

• Clarify medication instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

• Review and evaluate profiles for prescription and over-the-counter medications.

• Assist with prescription processing, inventory management, and ensuring the accuracy of medication orders.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and treatment strategies.

• Verify prescriptions and identify any contraindications or interactions.

• Promote safe medication dispensing practices.

• Engage in immunization initiatives and disease management programs.

• Keep updated on pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of residence.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology.

• Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Advanced growth mindset capabilities, including adaptability and the development of self and others.

• Proficient execution and delivery skills, including planning, executing, and supporting work.

• Ability to assess the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and make informed decisions.

• High level of digital literacy skills.

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).
