This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Analyze clinical pathology specimens and deliver precise diagnostic assessments for veterinary clients.
• Produce high-quality pathology reports while ensuring strong turnaround performance and compliance with best practices.
• Offer consultation and follow-up assistance to help clients comprehend diagnostic results and their implications for patient care.
• Maintain diagnostic precision and engage in peer collaboration when appropriate.
• Enhance clinical pathology knowledge through ongoing education, professional development, and the application of new insights.
• Participate in pathology rounds, team meetings, committees, and collaborative discussions.
• Contribute to educational, research, customer-focused, and project-related initiatives within the pathology organization.
• Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support team decisions.
• Establish professional goals, enhance leadership skills, and adapt to changing business and customer requirements.
• Participate in weekend coverage as part of consistent diagnostic support.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent veterinary qualification.
• Board certification from the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP).
• Extensive expertise in clinical pathology and the interpretation of diagnostic specimens.
• Capability to provide precise, detailed, and timely diagnostic evaluations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
• Comfort in working independently while collaborating with colleagues in a team-oriented setting.
• Awareness of current topics, advancements, and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
• Service-focused mindset with a dedication to quality and ongoing improvement.
• Willingness to participate in a weekend coverage schedule, including a commitment to work one weekend day as part of your regular schedule.
