Clinical Operations Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance relationships with bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy programs within the NMDP network.

• Boost engagement with referring oncologists and promote timely, appropriate patient referrals.

• Act as the primary relationship manager for regional BMT programs and community oncologists.

• Define strategic partnership goals and priorities alongside BMT team members.

• Evaluate and address the needs of BMT programs, including physicians, administrators, coordinators, social workers, and financial coordinators.

• Serve as the main contact for NMDP and transplant-process inquiries, connecting patients with NMDP resources.

• Collaborate with NMDP colleagues to coordinate services and meet transplant-center and organizational objectives.

• Participate in BMT program meetings to gain insight into transplant-center requirements and challenges.

• Provide real-time consultation through onsite, phone, or online presence, including follow-up and after-action reviews.

• Share network metrics and center-specific data while offering evidence-based recommendations.

• Identify unmet regional needs and supply supporting data and analysis.

• Create and present educational content related to research studies, NMDP services and initiatives, allogeneic transplant, and cellular therapy.

• Assist in onboarding new transplant-center team members.

• Design, implement, and oversee special projects and research opportunities in collaboration with NMDP and CIBMTR colleagues.

• Suggest process enhancements to simplify the transplant process.

• Represent provider needs and share insights with NMDP colleagues and leadership.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, or genetics.

• Preferred experience and knowledge in a provider setting.

• Bachelor’s degree with eight years of experience in a relevant science or healthcare-related field.

• Four years of full-time internal NMDP employment can replace the required eight years of experience.

• Ability to cultivate new relationships and enhance existing ones.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to foster innovative solutions.

• Capability to improve processes, take initiative, and resolve issues.

• Skill in establishing credibility and encouraging collaboration with both internal and external colleagues.

• Excellent professional communication and customer service skills.

• Flexibility to adjust schedules for meetings and urgent customer requirements.

• Occasional domestic travel for conferences and face-to-face team meetings.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Previous experience in the BMT and cellular therapy industry is preferred.

• Prior clinical-setting experience with a focus on customer service is preferred.

• Master’s/Ph.D. degree with six years of experience in a relevant science or healthcare-related field is preferred.
