This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer clinical leadership for a team of therapists, acting as the primary people manager and clinical coach.
• Deliver 1:1 coaching, constructive feedback, goal establishment, and professional growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to enhance department development, growth, performance, priorities, outcomes, and manage escalations.
• Convert clinical practice strategies and performance metrics into actionable recommendations.
• Spearhead continuous quality improvement, growth, and sustainability initiatives at both the department and company-wide levels.
• Engage in therapist recruitment and hiring processes, including conducting interviews and making hiring recommendations.
• Resolve patient concerns and complaints with a focus on Care Integrity.
• Mentor newly hired therapists and oversee their personal development objectives.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and cross-functional departments on decisions impacting providers.
• Guide direct reports on utilization, schedule optimization, incentive compensation earnings, and adherence to clinical policies.
• Oversee the complete performance lifecycle, including coaching, development planning, performance reviews, and formal performance management.
• Provide expert consultation on treatment planning, level-of-care determinations, complex cases, and clinical inquiries.
• Ensure clinical quality and compliance through thorough documentation reviews, chart audits, standards-of-care coaching, and quality initiatives.
• Support clinical and safety escalations with appropriate consultation, guidance, and follow-up coordination.
• Utilize clinical informatics and practice-pattern insights to enhance care and patient outcomes.
• Drive therapist engagement and retention through proactive support, early intervention, meetings, and clinically focused discussions.
• Adapt leadership responsibilities within a dynamic and expanding practice.
• Availability for full-time work in the Pacific Time Zone.
• A minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience.
• At least 5+ years of progressive management experience in the mental health field.
• Over 2 years of experience in leadership roles managing large teams.
• Active, independent license as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or counselor in at least two western states.
• Capability to obtain licensure in additional states as required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, effectively manage people, and collaborate as part of a larger team.
