Clinical Education Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and implement necessary educational programs for both new employees and current clinical staff.

• Remain actively engaged in program-wide EMS initiatives.

• Conduct audits to ensure the completion and documentation of employee educational prerequisites.

• Contribute to the evaluation and development of web-based courses.

• Support management in interviewing and assessing potential new hires.

• Collaborate with Program Medical Directors and the CQI Committee on case review sessions and on-demand educational presentations.

• Occasionally serve as a primary flight crew member or as a third-person observer, if applicable.

• Aid the program director and operations managers in outreach education efforts.

• Travel frequently as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of New Mexico.

• Frequent travel is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of flight experience is necessary; 3 years is preferred.

• Current licensure as RN, EMT-P, or RRT is required.

• Current specialty certification is preferred (CFRN, FPC, RRT), or must be obtained within 24 months of hire.

• Experience in adult education is preferred.

• Experience as a training preceptor and certified instructor in ITLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP is strongly preferred.

• Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

• Leadership capabilities and the ability to connect with clinical EMS personnel are important.

• Proficiency in computer skills and above-average software knowledge is required.

• Must successfully pass a pre-placement drug test and background check.

• Must meet the requirements for active flight status.
