Clinical Counselor – Employee Assistance Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide on-demand consultations in a single session format, including clinical assessments, triage, and informational services.

• Utilize advanced technology platforms to improve customer experience and link members to suitable solutions.

• Assist members through various communication channels such as phone, video, or chat.

• Deliver prompt and high-quality mental health services via the Employee Assistance Program.

• Adapt to varied schedules to support a 24/7 call center operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a valid and unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, or Clinical Psychologist) in the state of employment.

• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in crisis intervention.

• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrate excellent multitasking capabilities.

• Show proficiency in utilizing various technology platforms and tools.

• Hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health or counseling discipline.

• Prior experience in a call center environment is preferred.

• Experience in providing services through chat, video, and phone is preferred.

• Preferred candidates will have strong rapport-building skills.

• Experience in facilitating positive behavior changes is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in EAP, Behavioral Health, or Social Services is preferred.

• Familiarity with working with diverse populations is preferred.

• Knowledge of brief therapy models and Motivational Interviewing is preferred.
