Clinical Consultant, Solution Deployment

📋 Description

• Exhibit in-depth understanding of pertinent clinical operations, products, and services.

• Offer clinical guidance to BD customers as they implement interoperability and connectivity products.

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure implementations are timely and effective.

• Work in collaboration with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors on policies, procedures, workflows, protocols, resource groups, device education, go-live, post-implementation rounds, and consulting.

• Analyze basic HL7 messages and troubleshoot failures, escalating to technical subject matter experts when necessary.

• Conduct follow-ups with customers for system assessments, satisfaction, problem resolution, and evaluations.

• Create recommendations to enhance customer benefits from implemented solutions.

• Organize conference calls and customer meetings for product implementations in hospital systems.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

• Provide support and product information for BD Medication Systems Infusion products.

• Mentor team members on competency in products and processes.

• Oversee customer teams, achieve consensus, and ensure clear, consistent communication.

• Guide the review of customer site assessments and facilitate project design and execution.

• Offer feedback to foster continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, tools, and services.

• Install and support BD Medication Systems Infusion hardware and software solutions.

• Encourage customer acceptance and usage in multi-site and complex environments.

• Serve as a customer support resource as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

• 4-6 years of experience in a healthcare-related field.

• Must possess a current active nursing license.

• Experience in acute care hospitals is required, preferably with nursing informatics or leadership roles; familiarity with Pediatric, NICU, and Oncology is a plus.

• Valid driver's license and at least 21 years of age.

• This is a home-based position requiring 75-100% travel, including overnight stays.

• Flexible working hours, including some evenings and weekends.

• Ability to work independently from a home office.

• Capability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; position may require pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.

• Upon hiring, candidates must provide proof of current immunizations and obtain additional facility-appropriate immunizations.

• Specific knowledge of BD business/products is highly desirable.
