This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Deliver clinical leadership to BD clients implementing interoperability and connectivity solutions.
• Assist Project Managers in ensuring timely and effective implementations.
• Collaborate with hospital clinicians and EMR vendors on policies, procedures, workflows, protocols, resource groups, device education, go-live, and post-implementation clinical rounds.
• Organize conference calls and customer meetings for hospital system implementations.
• Lead customer site assessments and facilitate the project design and implementation of BD Medication Systems Infusion products and technologies.
• Oversee customer teams, achieve consensus, and ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Provide team support and product information; mentor team members on product and process proficiency.
• Offer basic HL7 message interpretation, resolve issues, and escalate to technical SMEs when necessary.
• Follow up with customers regarding system assessments, satisfaction, problem-solving, and evaluation of BD solutions.
• Formulate recommendations to enhance customer benefits and solution capabilities.
• Supply feedback to Business Operations and Field Trainers to refine implementation methodologies, tools, and services.
• Install and support BD Medication Systems Infusion hardware and software solutions.
• Influence customer acceptance and utilization in multi-site and complex environments.
• Act as a customer support resource when needed.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current active nursing license required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work independently from a home office.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel 75-100%, including overnight trips.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; position may require pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.
• Provide proof of and maintain current immunizations upon hire, and obtain additional facility-appropriate immunizations.
• Acute care hospital experience is required, preferably in nursing informatics or leadership roles.
• Experience in Pediatric, NICU, and Oncology settings is highly desired.
• Specific knowledge of BD business is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BD Medication Systems Infusion products.
• Expert knowledge of hospital clinical workflow processes, hospital data set/drug library build, clinical system integration, clinical device settings, and interface validation.
• Proficiency in BD Medication Systems Infusion product implementation methodologies and tools or equivalent industry standards.
• Basic HL7 message interpretation and failure resolution skills.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and system consultation abilities related to clinical workflow and health system standardization.
