This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Deliver clinical leadership to BD clients who are implementing interoperability and connectivity solutions.
• Assist Project Managers to guarantee efficient and timely implementation processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and EMR vendors regarding policies, procedures, workflows, protocols, resource groups, device education, go-live activities, and follow-up clinical rounds.
• Organize conference calls and customer meetings for small to medium-sized hospital systems.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers.
• Offer team support and product information related to BD Medication Systems Infusion products.
• Mentor team members to enhance product and process knowledge.
• Oversee customer teams, achieve consensus, and ensure clear, consistent communication.
• Guide customer site evaluations and assist with project design and execution.
• Provide insights to Business Operations and Field Trainers to enhance implementation processes, tools, and services.
• Interpret basic HL7 messages and escalate issues to technical subject matter experts as necessary.
• Follow up with customers regarding system evaluations, satisfaction, troubleshooting, and product assessment.
• Create recommendations to optimize customer advantages from implemented solutions.
• Install and support BD Medication Systems Infusion hardware and software solutions.
• Influence customer acceptance and utilization in multi-site and intricate environments.
• Act as a customer support resource when needed.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A current active nursing license is required.
• Valid driver's license and a minimum age of 21.
• Willingness and ability to travel 75-100%, including overnight trips.
• Flexibility in working hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Capability to work independently from a home office.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.; the role may involve pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.
• Proof of current immunizations and the capacity to obtain additional facility-specific immunizations upon hiring.
• Experience in an acute care hospital is required, preferably with a focus on nursing informatics or leadership roles.
• Experience in Pediatric, NICU, and Oncology settings is highly preferred.
• Specific knowledge of BD business practices is highly desired.
• Familiarity with BD Medication Systems Infusion products.
• Advanced understanding of clinical workflow processes, hospital data set/drug library construction, clinical system integration, clinical device settings, and interface validation.
• Basic HL7 message interpretation and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with BD Medication Systems Infusion implementation methodologies and tools or equivalent industry standards.
• Ability to manage complex projects, troubleshoot systems, and support standardization of clinical workflows.
