This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.
• Deliver clinical training and support to clients as a dosimetry expert, both on-site and remotely.
• Educate customers on the safe and effective operation of Varian Medical System equipment and its intricate functionalities.
• Manage and align customer clinical expectations.
• Provide competitive product performance insights to headquarters, marketing, or engineering teams.
• Organize or facilitate training sessions for customers and employees.
• Conduct large-scale presentations at seminars, training events, and trade exhibitions.
• Offer demonstration support at local, regional, and national customer trade events.
• Develop quick tips, workbooks, video materials, and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance services and customer relations.
• Create and maintain formal documentation for customer training support.
• Design and oversee initial and ongoing training for Clinical Applications Specialists and for new product launches.
• Mentor Clinical Training Specialists I and II.
• Assist in trade shows, sales, marketing, and testing initiatives.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Training Operations and/or Applications Manager.
• Travel to customer and client locations, including Canada, up to 75%–100% of the time.
• Must possess a Certified Dosimetrist credential.
• Clinical knowledge of processes within a medical and/or radiation oncology department.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience or 3 years in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Enrollment in a Varian-approved Development Program is required.
• Travel demands up to 75–100% and occasional weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Adaptable, positive attitude, and open-mindedness towards new ideas and situations.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to learn and rapidly grasp new concepts.
• Completion of LMS training plan relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• Proficient in remote training tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, ServiceMax, QlikView, and Learning Management System (LMS).
• Capable of leading a team and handling special assignments proficiently.
• Proficient in delivering training for at least 20%–30% of Varian products.
• Strong product knowledge to support cross-functional teams.
• Must fulfill Vendor Credentialing requirements for unrestricted client-site access, including necessary identification, background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must comply with Canadian Border Services requirements for travel into Canada.
• A valid U.S. or Canadian driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control laws.
