Clinical Applications Analyst – Epic Beaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, analyze, develop, and uphold clinical applications, procedures, and systems.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Informaticist to design, enhance, and support the EHR and associated clinical systems.

• Assess EMR upgrades and issue notifications.

• Investigate and develop methods to enhance clinical system functionalities.

• Analyze system feedback and propose improvements for user experience.

• Consistently enhance information technology services for users.

• Act as the primary resource for IT support staff concerning EMR technology.

• Support state and federal clinical data reporting initiatives.

• Create training for new software applications and instruct both new and current users.

• Address individual user issues as they arise.

• Provide agency data reporting related to support issues.

• Conduct acceptance testing and document any issues related to EMR updates.

• Engage in performance improvement activities, committees, projects, meetings, and training sessions.

• Serve as a preceptor upon request.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Technology.

• 5 years of pertinent experience in clinical applications.

• Experience with Epic Beaker is essential.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, analyzing, developing, and maintaining clinical applications and related systems.

• Capability to design, enhance, and support EHR and associated clinical systems.

• Competence in reviewing and notifying on EMR upgrades.

• Knowledge of EMR technology with the ability to assist IT staff.

• Skill in aiding with state and federal data reporting requirements.

• Aptitude for developing training for software applications.

• Capacity to conduct acceptance testing and document issues.

• Visual and auditory capabilities must be intact.

• Ability to satisfactorily perform essential duties.
