This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the launch and continuous development of Ionis’s inaugural wholly owned commercial product within the designated territory.
• Engage with key customers and accounts to identify opportunities for enhancing patient care.
• Establish and utilize healthcare-system networks and relationships.
• Create and implement business plans along with customer-focused strategic account plans for the territory.
• Inform healthcare professionals and office staff regarding sHTG disease awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment options.
• Provide support materials and programs for HCPs and patients.
• Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific gatherings.
• Collect market insights and relay feedback to field leadership and marketing teams.
• Comprehend local referral networks and identify, validate, and document potential healthcare professionals.
• Develop tactics based on customer requirements and brand specifications.
• Attend field meetings and training sessions.
• Complete training in labeling, compliance, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and share insights from customer engagements.
• Utilize available platforms and technology to connect with customers through various channels.
• Partner with accounts involving patients treated by multiple specialties and regions.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience with launching new products.
• Proficiency in account-based selling.
• Experience engaging with HCPs and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Coordination experience with cross-functional field teams.
• Proven ability to independently manage a sales territory.
• Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other specialties that treat FCS patients.
• Preference for candidates with injectable experience.
• Familiarity with cardiometabolic and lipid-related disorders, including severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG).
• Established connections with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major accounts.
• Capability to analyze market data and formulate territory strategies.
• Track record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs.
• Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to addressing patient needs.
