This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the strategic leader within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure cohesive customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics.
• Enhance execution and maximize sustainable business impact.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Over 5 years of sales experience within the pharma/biotech sector.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, preferably with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a history of success in challenging situations.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle available for transportation.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to comply with healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel for business via air or car regularly.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies, account management, specialty pharmacy, healthcare industry, leadership/people management, or an MBA/advanced degree.
