This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie's Multiple Myeloma brand within the designated territory.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions leveraging in-depth scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure coordinated experiences for customers.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Complete necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology; Multiple Myeloma experience is preferred.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven track record in challenging settings.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company-provided car/truck.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to engage in regular business travel by air or vehicle.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management is preferred.
• Preference for candidates with Specialty Pharmacy experience.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Prior people management or leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
