This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Phoenix South region, including Tucson, Arizona, and its surrounding areas.
• Formulate and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions leveraging deep scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance by utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction with customers.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• Persistently enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Promote the objectives of the Multiple Myeloma brand and drive business goals.
• Responsibly allocate resources and work collaboratively within the oncology ecosystem to generate long-term value for patients, customers, and the organization.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, preferably with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience, with a commendable record in challenging situations.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Capacity to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business by air or car.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
• Preferred account management experience.
• Preferred expertise in specialty pharmacy.
• Preferred background in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interactions or healthcare consulting.
• Preferred experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• Preferred advanced degree such as an MBA.
