This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Account Executive to devise strategies for acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
• Work in conjunction with sales teams to achieve corporate objectives and targets.
• Discover opportunities for Tempus algorithmic tests and additional services among current customers.
• Partner on upselling initiatives for a variety of products.
• Encourage customer utilization of online ordering via the Tempus Hub and EMR integrations.
• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities with potential oncology clients for Tempus.
• Advocate for adherence to web-based molecular information tools.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and assigned accounts to identify trends and relay customer insights.
• Track sales performance to ensure that targets are achieved.
• Create and execute a detailed territory business plan, inclusive of budgets, travel, territory management, and goal establishment.
• Embody and represent the Tempus company culture to both external and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain relationships with physicians, office personnel, and pathology departments.
• Maintain regular communication with targeted physicians.
• Coordinate reviews of Medical Affairs reports with physicians following clinical orders.
• Manage kit and literature replenishment at accounts.
• Identify and participate in approved local conferences.
• Collaborate with accounts to gather necessary clinical data and progress notes for patients tested by Tempus.
• Must reside in Connecticut, New York State, West Albany NY, or the surrounding area.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, life science, business, or marketing.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to rapidly assimilate pertinent genomic and oncology knowledge.
• Capability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, manage various projects, and prioritize daily responsibilities while adhering to critical deadlines.
• Proficient in maintaining market, customer, and product knowledge essential for supporting sales goals.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a knack for engaging healthcare professionals.
• Strong administrative skills and the sophistication required to manage business operations in complex environments.
• Experience in sales support within healthcare, ideally in oncology or pathology, with a proven record of success is advantageous.
• General clinical experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required.
