Clinic Support Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offers administrative assistance to clinic offices as required

• Submits prior authorization requests to insurance providers

• Confirms authorization approvals and communicates payment and billing/collection policy details to clinics

• Conducts thorough benefits verifications via telephone or payer portal

• Shares verification results regarding final delivery approval and claim reimbursement possibilities

• Aids in remote call center functions, E-fax management, pre-delivery insurance re-verifications, appointment confirmations, and other assigned tasks

• Advocates for paperless workflows and technology-driven processes to enhance operational efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related discipline is preferred

• One to two years of experience in the O&P sector utilizing EMR systems

• Previous experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid Insurance

• Familiarity with Medicare LCDs and Policy Articles relevant to O&P

• Prior role as a Patient Care Specialist is advantageous but not mandatory

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with patients, physicians, and colleagues in a courteous, knowledgeable, and service-oriented manner

• Attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving/analysis skills, communication proficiency, and computer literacy
