Client Virtualization Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Administer and oversee Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.

• Provide support for virtual infrastructure utilizing Nutanix, VMware, and Citrix technologies.

• Monitor system performance and address hardware, operating system, and infrastructure issues.

• Manage essential infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server replication.

• Execute system updates and enhancements in accordance with established best practices.

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to uphold system security and compliance standards.

• Work alongside cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise infrastructure needs.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation while assisting with user training.

• Refer to written work instructions for direction in daily job responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in administering and supporting VMware environments, including vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi.

• Proven experience in implementing, migrating, supporting, and troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure and architecture solutions.

• Experience in administering or supporting enterprise data storage technologies, including NAS and SAN solutions.

• Familiarity with implementing, configuring, or supporting hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as Nutanix and Citrix platforms.

• Proficient in working with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, switches, firewalls, and routers, within enterprise environments.

• Experience in developing technical solutions and documentation to resolve complex infrastructure challenges and support ongoing issue prevention.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
