This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the relationship between Prepory and the parents and guardians of students from orientation until final admissions decisions are made.
• Facilitate new student orientations and meetings to check in with parents.
• Proactively engage with parents and guardians to address and resolve concerns promptly.
• Act as the escalation point for family expectations, requirements, and dynamics.
• Navigate challenging conversations with families who may be disappointed or anxious.
• Assist college admissions coaches in addressing client concerns and family dynamics.
• Provide mentorship to coaches regarding client communication, tailored student needs, and complex situations.
• Work collaboratively with coaches and program leadership to modify programming as student needs evolve.
• Present suitable additional programming options and manage family re-enrollments.
• Advocate for referral and review strategies.
• Conduct individual advising sessions for a group of up to 15 students.
• Guide students on personal statements, supplemental essays, and résumés.
• Monitor deadlines and delegate tasks to ensure students remain on track.
• Assist students in researching and developing balanced college lists.
• Report to the Client Success Director and collaborate with Program Directors, Program Managers, the Enrollment team, and coaching teams.
• A degree from a selective or highly-selective college or university (preferably a top-50 national university or top-20 liberal arts college).
• A minimum of three years of experience in college admissions, admissions consulting, or a closely related field.
• Previous experience within an admissions office is highly advantageous.
• Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the U.S. college admissions process, with a commitment to staying informed as it evolves.
• Background in customer success, client engagement, account management, or consultative sales.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing individuals, either formally or informally.
• Availability to work at least one evening each week and 12 Saturdays or Sundays annually.
• Exceptional listening, speaking, writing, and grammar skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unstructured setting.
• Highly detail-oriented and results-driven.
