This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Enroll, educate, and assist Acumen clients throughout their entire journey.
• Provide support to both employers and employees during the enrollment phase.
• Handle paperwork and manage electronic communications efficiently.
• Conduct precise data entry across various databases.
• Build, nurture, and expand relationships with clients and program contacts.
• Comprehend and articulate program rules, regulations, and implementation requirements.
• Serve as a communication bridge between clients and Acumen departments.
• Receive, investigate, and resolve client inquiries within agreed contractual timelines.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Manage escalated matters involving client families and state authorities.
• Formulate strategies to enhance existing programs through marketing, education, and community outreach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address issues efficiently.
• Handle varying volumes of calls and emails.
• Deliver customer service via phone and electronic communication.
• Work occasional weekends, weeknights, and holidays as required.
• Contribute to the company’s compliant cybersecurity framework.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Must reside in the St. Louis, MO area.
• A minimum of one year experience in data entry.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or client relations.
• Proficiency in working with multiple applications at the same time.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and PDFs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage fluctuating inbound and outbound call volumes.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, weeknights, and holidays.
• Competence in prioritizing competing requests and meeting multiple deadlines.
• Patience, perseverance, and a follow-through mindset.
• Keen attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
• Capacity to handle complex clients and high-pressure situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Secure remote workspace with high-speed internet when applicable.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance if required by program.
• Willingness to obtain specific state-required certifications.
