Client Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide client service for daily record maintenance, administration, and management of an assigned portfolio of business.

• Encourage revenue enhancement, productivity, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

• Ensure that plans are managed in accordance with plan provisions and current pension legislation and regulations.

• Discuss compliance testing processes, outcomes, and the necessary government filings.

• Ensure that services align with EPIC RPS documented service standards through prompt client communication.

• Interact with clients, plan sponsors, advisors, and daily contacts.

• Oversee and manage daily reporting.

• Record relevant client communications.

• Provide project management support both internally and externally.

• Collaborate with operational teams to maintain record-keeping tasks for assigned plans.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree and two (2) years of experience in customer service, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• ASPAA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) is preferred.

• Capability to read and interpret procedure manuals and technical guidelines.

• Ability to compose routine correspondence.

• Proficient in communicating effectively with both internal and external contacts.

• Ability to work with probability and statistical inference concepts.

• Skill in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.

• Ability to resolve practical issues with limited standardization.

• Proficient in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to enhance software skills through internal training within a reasonable timeframe.

• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Effective communication skills with internal and/or external customers.

• Ability to remain stationary for 75% or more of the time.

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
