Client Service Representative, Government Savings – GS Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute both financial and non-financial transactions for 529 college savings plans, which include establishing new accounts, processing contributions, managing disbursements, facilitating fund transfers and exchanges, as well as handling client communications.

• Achieve productivity, timeliness, and quality benchmarks.

• Support or coordinate assistance for other operational units.

• Conduct quality assurance on transactions completed by colleagues.

• Participate in corporate training and enhance understanding of systems.

• Contribute insights into departmental policies and procedures.

• Acquire knowledge of partner- and plan-specific regulations and procedures.

• Suggest enhancements to applications, workflows, and procedures.

• Formulate project proposals aimed at improving departmental operations.

• Offer constructive feedback to team members.

• Aid management during peak times by mentoring and assessing temporary staff.

• Safeguard confidential data pertaining to Ascensus and clients.

• Embrace emerging technologies, platforms, and evolving practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred 1 to 2 years of experience in a professional work environment.

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented, proficient with PC/keyboard, adaptable, self-driven, capable of multitasking, and thriving under pressure.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.

• Series 6 and 63 licenses are preferred.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Availability to work the 1:00pm–9:30pm shift.

• Willingness to work overtime during certain weekends and holidays may be necessary.
