Client Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison for around 150–175 retirement plan clients and their advisors.

• Address inquiries from plan sponsors and advisors regarding plan design, operations, compliance, and technology until resolution is achieved.

• Ensure clients are ahead of annual compliance tasks, including nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 submissions.

• Guide clients and advisors through the 401(k) recordkeeping procedures and JULY's technological offerings.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep plans on schedule.

• Manage incoming and outgoing client communications through a phone queue.

• Maintain detailed records of client projects and conversations.

• Foster client loyalty through consistent and proactive service.

• Stay updated on industry trends as well as legislative and regulatory developments.

• Contribute to various team projects as required.

• Report to a Team Leader within Client Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in retirement plans, specifically in compliance testing and/or a client-facing capacity.

• Ability to communicate technical outcomes to plan sponsors in an easily understandable manner.

• Comfort in handling challenging discussions, such as conveying a failed test result, while maintaining strong relationships.

• A talent for building trust with clients and advisors over time.

• Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-ups.

• Organizational skills to manage multiple clients' deadlines simultaneously without external oversight.

• A collaborative attitude with a willingness to assist team members.

• Bachelor's degree.

• ASPPA credential (e.g., QKA) or a commitment to obtain one.
