This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Lead the management of a well-established client portfolio to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliver service excellence.
• Oversee daily operations and projects to sustain and improve client satisfaction.
• Manage client renewals, servicing, potential terminations, plan documentation, system records, and checklists.
• Assess coverage requirements and pricing, providing recommendations for renewals.
• Keep track of IRS and Department of Labor regulations as well as industry trends, and communicate relevant updates.
• Ensure compliance with standardized procedures and processes.
• Review and audit team members' work for timeliness, quality, compliance, and system efficiency.
• Conduct audits of record-keeping systems and third-party card vendor systems.
• Address inquiries from clients and teammates concerning administration, billing, and claims.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships, managing issues to enhance retention.
• Mentor and train team members.
• Provide administrative assistance for special projects and the development of new services.
• Attend seminars, training sessions, and carrier meetings.
• Support revenue and client retention goals.
• Create and deliver both on-site and virtual training for clients and participants.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, offering strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with internal partners, broker partners, and account managers.
• Maintain precise client records and documentation.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert.
• Ensure that flexible benefits plans comply with IRS, ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations.
• Make strategic recommendations for plan design based on client data and business objectives.
• Initiate and manage renewals and updates to plan documents.
• Understanding of Flexible Benefits.
• Experience in client account management.
• Strong skills in client relationship management with excellent communication, service orientation, cooperation, and the ability to resolve issues tactfully.
• Proven experience in sales and upselling within related fields.
• Demonstrated responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism.
• A positive and enthusiastic disposition.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for benefit fairs, conferences, and educational events.
• Must possess a Life, Health & Accident License or be able to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Required to complete continuing education requirements.
• A four-year degree or equivalent industry experience is necessary.
• Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Capacity to research and analyze problems independently.
• Ability to collaborate across different functions.
