This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee essential projects for Paylocity’s largest, most intricate, and highest-revenue clients.
• Determine project scope, formulate project plans, and monitor and report on progress.
• Comprehend client business challenges and align Paylocity features and benefits to address these issues.
• Resolve operational challenges impacting regular usage of the Paylocity system.
• Deliver customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Organize internal and external client teams, delineating roles, responsibilities, objectives, and timelines.
• Update client senior leadership on ongoing progress.
• Assist in conducting quarterly business reviews.
• Identify project impediments and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
• Recognize HR, Finance, and IT opportunities that can be addressed using Paylocity products or HCM solutions.
• Champion client needs and communicate their preferences, feature requests, and market trends internally.
• Spot opportunities for automation, product enhancement, and process improvement.
• Lead client calls and report on the deliverables of project tasks.
• Travel to client locations up to 50% of the time.
• Remain informed about trends, regulations, and best practices in HR, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Share pertinent industry insights with clients.
• Utilize Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, and Taskray for project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management or technical account management is required.
• Previous experience in client services and client-facing roles is required.
• Exceptional project and time management abilities.
• Capability to multitask and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
• Previous experience in HCM or payroll service bureaus is strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP.
• Preferred proven knowledge of the majority of the Paylocity HCM suite.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with C-level executives.
• Previous experience in product training and instructional design is preferred.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Must reside in the U.S. Central Time Zone.
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours daily.
• Proficiency in operating computers and phone systems, typing, and using multiple software applications simultaneously.
