Client Integration Lead, Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess the accounting requirements of new clients, review their systems and records, and outline the necessary steps for a successful initiation.

• Execute accounting setup and cleanup tasks.

• Record client processes and prepare the service team for an efficient transition.

• Implement technology integrations and connections for various third-party client platforms.

• Serve as the main client liaison during the initial months.

• Organize meetings and track action items for follow-up.

• Foster client collaboration, collect essential information, and follow up on any outstanding items.

• Keep clients updated while adhering to deadlines.

• Carry out standard accounting tasks when the team is understaffed.

• Oversee client onboarding from the initial discussions through the transition to the service team.

• Reduce client startup time without compromising accuracy or the quality of the client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 1 year of project management experience or equivalent training is preferred.

• Proficiency with various technology platforms.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and delegate effectively.

• Strong comfort level in engaging with both clients and internal team members.

• An analytical thinker adept at creative problem solving.

• Experience working in a remote setting with a distributed team.

• Must reside in a state where the company is established: Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, or Minnesota.
