This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the main support and daily point of contact for client service teams and operations.
• Maintain records for clients, system defaults, tariff databases, related vendors, and keywords.
• Facilitate the completion of release and entry summaries.
• Oversee client and customs process activities, including support for releases, classifications, compliance, and auditing.
• Develop and sustain working relationships with clients and carriers.
• Prioritize and execute tasks based on client needs, customs regulations, and Livingston standards.
• Confirm documentation for release, compliance, and rating requirements.
• Create, maintain, and adhere to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Electronic Service Procedures (ESPs).
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment releases and ratings across various transportation modes.
• Audit tasks performed by the Release Pool or NSC in Air/Sea locations.
• Support, guide, and mentor Release Operations team members at non-Air/Sea locations.
• Escalate issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Generate customs entries and input shipment information for EDI release, rating, and billing.
• Reach out to clients and carriers to gather missing documentation, information, or instructions.
• Collaborate with Customs and PGAs as required.
• Conduct checks on tariffs, valuations, and client/importer information.
• Perform documented internal audits.
• Compile and present performance statistics for the Client Service Team.
• Engage in daily team operations, meetings, and special projects.
• Coordinate and implement electronic data relationships.
• Stay informed on new system developments.
• Execute other related tasks and adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent qualification.
• Actively working towards or have successfully completed the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA, if not already achieved.
• Successful completion of the CCS examination is essential for further progression.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
• Interpersonal skills that are client service-oriented.
• Capability to manage high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, completeness, and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
