This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main support and daily contact for client service teams and operations.

• Establish and nurture working relationships with clients and carriers.

• Prioritize and execute tasks based on client demands, customs regulations, and Livingston standards.

• Oversee client tariff databases, system maintenance files, vendors, keywords, and data defaults.

• Validate documentation for release conditions, compliance, and rating accuracy.

• Develop, update, and adhere to client SOPs and ESPs.

• Identify enhancements in service delivery and operational productivity.

• Ensure the precise and timely release and rating of shipments across all transportation modes.

• Review work performed by the Release Pool or NSC in Air/Sea locations.

• Support, guide, and mentor Release Operations team members at non-Air/Sea locations.

• Escalate issues and propose corrective measures.

• Create customs entries and input shipment data for EDI release, rating, and billing.

• Reach out to clients and carriers to gather missing documentation, information, or instructions.

• Collaborate with Customs and PGAs as needed.

• Conduct tariff, valuation, and importer-information checks, along with documented internal audits.

• Assist MSD with performance measurement statistics reporting.

• Engage in daily team operations, including scheduling, coordination, problem-solving, meetings, and special projects.

• Coordinate and implement electronic data relationships.

• Stay updated on new system developments.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management and comply with established policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• High School/GED or equivalent qualification.

• Progressing towards or having successfully completed the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with CSCB or NCBFAA, if not already acquired.

• Successful completion of the CCS examination is required for further career advancement.

• Exceptional oral and written communication as well as organizational skills.

• Interpersonal skills focused on client service.

• Capability to manage large workloads and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.

• Sharp attention to detail, organization, completeness, and accuracy.

• Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to make decisions and recommendations within established limits.

• Excellent time management capabilities.

• Professional demeanor.

• Familiarity with Word and Excel software.

• Proficient in using personal computers and common business machines/software.
