This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of intricate, frequently multi-location or multi-line commercial accounts.
• Create customized service plans and risk management strategies that align with the unique industry, risk tolerance, and business objectives of each client.
• Facilitate client meetings, renewal strategy sessions, and coverage consultations, offering expert-level advice and advocacy.
• Work collaboratively with producers and practice leaders to deliver cohesive service and growth strategies.
• Oversee the renewal process from strategic planning to execution, including marketing, proposal development, and policy negotiations.
• Evaluate the assigned book of business to ensure revenue growth and maintain account profitability.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and coverage gaps; coordinate with internal teams and producers to provide complementary insurance lines.
• Keep track of carrier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to guide placement decisions and negotiate favorable terms.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in AMS360 and related systems regarding policy changes, notes, and documentation.
• Recognize underperforming accounts and develop action plans to enhance margins or resolve servicing challenges.
• Offer technical support and guidance to Client Managers and junior team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource during internal planning sessions, special projects, or escalated client service matters.
• Maintain a robust understanding of industry regulations, carrier appetites, and best practices in Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines.
• Ensure that service delivery meets agency standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance account management, specifically focusing on complex commercial accounts.
• Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products, markets, and strategies.
• Proven track record of establishing and sustaining strong relationships with executive-level clients and carrier partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen with the capability to manage book profitability effectively.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
• Active insurance licenses in relevant lines (P&C and/or L&H) are mandatory.
• Advanced industry certifications such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU are highly preferred.
