This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Manage client management platforms effectively.
• Assist with the deployment and lifecycle management of operating systems.
• Ensure client policies and configurations are maintained.
• Aid in the packaging of software and deployment of applications.
• Support the processes involved in patch management.
• Create basic automation and scripting solutions.
• Engage in platform upgrades and modernization efforts.
• Resolve complex client-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to established standards.
• Oversee ticket monitoring, follow-up, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate the equipment and technology service needs of remote sites with contacts, support teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Manage the procurement of hardware, software, and subscriptions, including requirements gathering, approvals, ordering, delivery, and renewal tracking.
• Provide consistent status updates on assigned initiatives and tickets, detailing progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in client support or engineering.
• Proficient in client management technologies.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting is required.
• Understanding of device lifecycle management is essential.
• Familiarity with enterprise security controls is preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification is desirable.
• Experience with Intel Compatible PCs, peripherals, Dell clients, Apple computers, and printers.
• Proficient in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and security software is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Experience in monitoring ticket queues and coordinating follow-ups across technical teams.
• Proven track record in coordinating the technology service needs of remote sites.
• Experience in managing hardware, software, or subscription procurement and renewal processes.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to meet business requirements.
• Capability to lift and move computer devices weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
