This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the effective execution of intricate debit and/or credit projects for financial institutions through technical tasks and quality assessments.
• Guide client consultations to gather business and technical requirements, integrating these into project plans.
• Offer technical guidance while coordinating all stages of the operational implementation of technical project deliverables.
• Engage with clients to review complex project specifications and explore options with both clients and vendors.
• Conduct gap analyses to outline necessary system setup requirements.
• Advise clients on strategies to fulfill business objectives.
• Serve as a bridge between client and vendor technical teams, mapping technical files across systems.
• Implement project plans alongside client personnel and vendors, ensuring that technical tasks are executed accurately and promptly.
• Identify and document unresolved issues and support their resolution.
• Assure implementation quality while communicating technical needs to third-party vendors and internal project support teams.
• Validate system parameters, perform testing, and adjust program parameters as needed.
• Provide technical assistance during the design, development, and implementation phases.
• Offer extended-hour post-implementation support and occasional on-site assistance.
• Adhere to change control and management processes, guiding junior consultants in following these protocols.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and internal project stakeholders to facilitate complex implementations.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in developing product/service requirement templates and procedures.
• Mentor and train junior Analysts.
• Complete departmental project tasks and provide after-hours on-call support for installations.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
• Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification is preferred.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the payment processing industry is essential.
• A comprehensive understanding of payment card products, support services, and processes is required.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience in business or system analysis is necessary.
• Three (3) years of experience in client-facing project support is required.
• Experience in managing card processing conversions that involve migrating data from one processing platform to another is essential.
