Client Billing Support Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve inquiries from Clients and Therapists through phone and live chat.

• Examine issues to uncover underlying causes.

• Collaborate with Product teams to enhance the platform.

• Educate and assist customers using the Grow Therapy platform.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both Clients and Therapists.

• Act as a primary resource and advocate for Clients and Therapists.

• Guide customers throughout their experience with Grow Therapy.

• Recognize and propose opportunities for ongoing customer growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience with insurance across various commercial and government payors.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with ICD-10/CPT codes, particularly in mental health.

• Experience using Claim MD or Availity for benefit verification.

• Proficiency in reading EOBs and clearly explaining benefits to patients.

• Experience navigating different payor portals.

• Self-driven and enthusiastic about learning.

• Comfortable with uncertainty and asynchronous communication.

• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity in health technology.

• Demonstrated kindness and empathy, prioritizing customer experience.

• Proven ability to work independently and remotely.

• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities and customer demands.

• Comfortable achieving quantitative targets, including daily conversation metrics.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Bilingual skills, preferably in Spanish, are advantageous.
